Another chapter. Yay!!! Thanks for the release. And I say, finish up Soushisouai Note and then move on to Fueta Kishi's stuff. Unless there's more chapters in S. Note left than I think there are. If that's the case, a Fueta Kishi story won't hurt. Either one is a win. But my vote goes to S. Note.

There are about four and a half chapters left. I'm all for doing more Soushisouai first, especially if that's what people want. Now we just gotta convince Hige too.

I was taught to count in a Florida voting station back in 2000 but I do see where the error is here. The better scans have 10 numbered folders. I just assumed that number 10 was another chapter when I glanced at 'em the other day, but on closer inspection it's just the closing pages.

So it is 3 more chapters, plus the omake.

3 chapters and an omake left. That's good to hear. I'll be looking forward to its completion. But it looks like Fueta Kishi is gonna take precedence for the next release so far.

But the really good news is that although there's 3+1 for US to translate, there are 2 more chapters that have already been translated. So that means there's 5+1 left to READ!

There's a one-page afterward which is kind of interesting so I think I will translate it, against the advice of Hage :twisted:

Yeah we had a discussion once about those little author's notes and I wasn't feeling the love. Besides, now that I've preempted you in a public forum you have no choice but to take the opposing side and ultimately agree with me anyway :P

Well I know we're not exactly talking about the Shannara series here but I did assume that most like-minded people would re-read those two chapters if they had seem them before... I mean otherwise, why are we bothering to keep the original story? We could just make up a new one if nobody cares.

Interesting short story there lol. Anyway, I know I've read the already translated chapters by Kanon. I'll just end up reading them again once the rest of the book is done for the sake of complete-ness. Although I want to see S. Note finished, Fueta Kishi is welcome too. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the release! I was actually gonna say something earlier, but while I was posting, I lost connection, and I just recently got it back, so yeah.

As for the next release, I was hoping to see more of the "King of Camel-Toe," Fueta Kishi.

I believe our discussion was over opening pages and credits rather than author's notes exactly, but screw it. Since you've forced me to take the opposition, I suppose if it says important stuff and you're willing to do the editing yourself to get it out there to the people, there's not much for me to say.

That other crap you wrote is called a "rewrite", and I'd have to go /wrists if we were to turn into a rewriting outfit. Using that as a argument for re-reading doesn't make any kinda sense. My point is that there are 3 and a half new chapters to come, that's all.

The awful anime you're thinking of was either Strawberry Bell or Super Milk-chan. The first was just for really small kids and so forgivable. The latter... unwatchable garbage.

Yeah I think I realized that the rewrite argument didn't make much sense some time after I posted it... My leg is still tethered to that surfboard so let me swim back, hop on, and see if I can figure out where I was going. I am morally opposed to the reading and viewing of things out of order. Even when the stories are only loosely related, it rubs me like 80 grit sandpaper on my ballsack. There are always going to be little references to parts of other stories or some kind of chronological connection that makes things interesting. I realize that not everybody subscribes to my literary values, but I would like to think that most people who care about the actual story (vs a rewrite) wouldn't read a series out of order. So my admittedly fallacious (that's fallacy with an A, not the other thing...) argument was something like 1) if you're not going to reread those two chapters then you don't care about the story, 2) if you don't care about the story then we might as well dip our dicks in shit and use them to "rewrite." :evil:

Your point, on the other hand, is well taken and I make no objections. Except that in retrospect I think we should have released the booklet first :oops:

And while I agree that Oh! Super Puke-Chan is total worthless garbage, I'm not sure that is the right one...
I'm pretty sure that the one I'm thinking about had a "2" in the title and I remember dying of laughter at the though that this tragic failure of entertainment was in fact a sequel to an equally disappointing waste of ink. Then again, maybe it WAS Super Milk-chan.

And finally: fear not for I have a new-found energy to finish Soushisouai Note now.

Sorry, I was disheartened when S. Note fell behind in the poll. And I was already in the mindset that the winner would take precedence. But if my continued support can provide the "sway" vote, I'm all for it. Just pretend that all 25 (and any other) votes for S. Note are from me lol. Since there are 3 chapters left of it, I say knock those out of the way.
